Spiritdancer is a site created by Shamira (Carolyne) of Glastonbury and now Yeovil to promote Raqs Sharqi, "Dance from the East", Reiki healing, Palmistry, Tarot and other therapies.
I am passionate about this dance, which I teach and perform, and I am also a professional therapist, Tarot reader and teacher, Elemental palmist, teacher of the Isle of Avalon Foundation Palmistry course, and Reiki healer and teacher.

New Improved Time Bellydance class with Shamira at Preston School Drama Studio in Yeovil, Somerset every Tuesday 7.30 to 8.30pm. Running throughout December apart from 25th and throughout January, apart from 1st! Running through to March. Drop In Class Email me for details! Classes focus on mainly Egyptian styles of Beledi, Classical Sharqi and Sha'abi (Folk). Suitable for beginners to learn the basics and for those with more experience who will be challenged with honing technique, layering, shimmies and combinations! The class costs £6. Keen 8 to 16 year olds welcome if accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them at all times. Under 16 year olds are half price, £3 each

Bellydance Trip to Luxor 2007. Jacqui Jamal in association with Penny Walters of Everything Egyptian bazaar. Next holiday dates 2008. Lessons with professional hotel bellydancer/s and/or Jacqui Jamal, and lesson with Kharriya Mazin the sole remaining Nawari Ghawazee dance performer.see the ancient local sites, take a fellucca trip, ride a camel, visit the bellydance warehouse (good deals to be made!), see a show at a hotel, and enjoy a hafla on the last night! Most food, drinks and excursions included! Deposits need to be received asap if you want to book a place. You can fly from any country and will be met at Luxor Airport when you arrive.
